About Cybriva AI

Small firms deserve serious security.

For more than 20 years, I've built and run technology and security programs in industries where a breach isn't just an IT problem. It's a regulatory problem, a client-trust problem, and sometimes an existential one. Healthcare diagnostics. Education. Legal. Insurance. Today, as a CTO/CIO at a HIPAA-covered, CAP/CLIA-accredited clinical laboratory, I live with written security programs, audits, and incident response every day.

And for most of those years, one thing kept bothering me.

The firms that are most exposed are the ones least equipped to do anything about it.

That's why I'm launching Cybriva AI.

The gap nobody is filling

A five-person tax practice must comply with the FTC Safeguards Rule and IRS written-security-plan requirements. A small insurance agency may fall under a state insurance data security law. A two-attorney law office holds privileged client data and is a prime target for wire-fraud schemes. A real estate brokerage moves closing funds that criminals are actively trying to redirect. A small medical practice carries the same HIPAA obligations as a hospital system.

None of them has a CISO. Most don't have a full-time IT person. What they have is a regulator, an insurer, or a client asking the same question: "Show me your written security program."

Today the options are poor. Free templates are generic and rarely match the firm's actual obligations. Big-firm consultants start at price points that don't make sense for a ten-person practice. So the policy binder stays on the to-do list until a phishing email, a diverted wire, or a ransomware note forces the issue.

What Cybriva AI is

Cybriva AI builds practical, customizable cybersecurity and compliance programs for small businesses in regulated industries, delivered as ready-to-edit document kits that a firm can adopt in days, not months.

Every kit is written for a specific industry, maps to the rules that industry actually faces, and uses plain language the people running the firm can follow. You fill in your firm's details, assign owners, and you have a working program, not a shelf document.

What makes it different

It's written by a practitioner.

These kits come from someone who has written, defended, and been audited on security programs in regulated environments, not from a marketing team.

It's industry-specific.

A tax preparer's biggest risk is not the same as a law firm's. The playbooks reflect that: EFIN theft and refund diversion for tax firms, premium diversion for insurance agencies, wire fraud for real estate.

It's built to be used.

Policies are numbered, owned, and tied to a toolkit that tracks reviews, training, vendors, and incidents. When an insurer, auditor, or client asks for evidence, you have it.
